MEET THE CREW
The people behind the builds.
From fabrication and bodywork to assembly, upholstery, and everything behind the scenes, our team brings skill, creativity, and a whole lot of personality to every build that comes through the shop.
BRYCE GREEN
PRESIDENT / CEO
Bryce’s passion for cars started with his first project, a 1968 Mustang. After graduating from tech school and working his way up to Body and Paint Shop Manager at a high-end custom shop, he turned that lifelong passion into Big Kid Custom Rides in 2020.
Today, Bryce leads a talented team of craftsmen building one-of-a-kind vehicles from the ground up, with nearly every aspect of each build completed in-house.
SYDNEY GREEN
OWNER
Sydney is Bryce’s other half and an integral part of the Big Kid family. As CEO of Big Kid Blocks, she oversees the manufacturing and fulfillment of the tools Bryce created, allowing him to stay focused on what he loves most: building cars.
Together, Sydney and Bryce have built their businesses while raising three kids, and she’s proud to show them what passion, hard work, and a great team can create.
MELANIE PAXMAN
OFFICE MANAGER
Melanie may not share her brother Bryce’s lifelong passion for cars, but growing up around his ’68 Mustang and countless car shows made joining Big Kid Custom Rides feel right at home.
With a diverse background in human resources, customer service, finance, and legal, she keeps things organized behind the scenes and the day-to-day chaos in check.
Outside the shop, Melanie spends her time with her husband and their arguably excessive number of pets, no regrets.
HOWARD GREEN
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Howard is the reason Bryce ever set foot at a car show and has been behind Big Kid from the beginning. After more than 40 years in the insurance industry, he supported Bryce in forging his own path and helped bring both Big Kid Blocks and Big Kid Custom Rides to life.
A lifelong machinery enthusiast and jack-of-all-trades, Howard has been a volunteer firefighter, EMT, Scoutmaster, pilot, and semi driver. When he’s not helping around the shop, you’ll usually find him riding his Can-Am, boating, camping, spending time with family, or adding to his impressive model train collection.
COLTEN WRIGHT
SHOP FOREMAN
Colten brings precision, craftsmanship, and years of hands-on experience to every build. From high-powered muscle cars to show-quality customs, he takes pride in making sure every project meets Big Kid’s standards.
His passion for engines started young and has only grown over the years. Outside the shop, Colten is a husband, dad of three, and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys anything that keeps him close to horsepower.
JJ PAXMAN
BODY TECHNICIAN
JJ has been part of the Big Kid journey since the early days, first helping Bryce with side projects before leaving his city job to join the team full time. He brings years of hands-on experience, a sharp eye for detail, and plenty of personality to the body shop.
Known as the shop’s comic relief, JJ is always ready with a joke and has a way of making everyone feel like part of the crew. Outside of work, he loves fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife.
SHELLY GREEN
SHOP MOM
Every shop needs a little heart, and at Big Kid, that’s Shelly. As Bryce’s mom, she’s been behind him from the beginning, helping launch Big Kid Blocks and supporting his decision to turn his passion for cars into Big Kid Custom Rides.
Around the shop, Shelly isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty sanding cars, but she may be best known for her legendary lunches. She keeps the crew well-fed, spirits high, and proves that “Shop Mom” is just one of the many hats she wears.
TALMAGE OSTLER
METAL FABRICATOR
Talmage brings precision and craftsmanship to every build, turning raw steel into one-of-a-kind pieces through custom fabrication, welding, and metalwork. His interest in custom cars began while working as a professional detailer, where being surrounded by unique builds quickly turned into a passion for creating them himself.
Quiet around the shop, Talmage is known for an unexpectedly sharp sense of humor that usually shows up in perfectly timed texts. He may not say much, but when he does, it’s usually worth hearing.
LUIS GARCIA
BODY TECHNICIAN
With more than 18 years of experience in fiberglass, mold making, and thermoforming, Luis is the shop’s go-to expert for anything fiberglass. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex fabrication challenges make him an invaluable part of the team.
Outside the shop, Luis is a devoted family man who enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and kids. His skill, work ethic, and calm presence make him someone the team can always count on.
DALTON HARMON
LEAD ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Dalton brings years of automotive experience, technical knowledge, and a serious passion for performance to the Big Kid team. A graduate of the Weber State Automotive Program and Hennessey Performance Tuner School, he’s the guy we count on to diagnose problems, fine-tune the details, and help bring each build across the finish line.
Outside the shop, Dalton is a husband and dad of three, a die-hard Real Salt Lake fan, and a collector of Hot Wheels and LEGOs. He also loves playing soccer, traveling, and making memories with his family.
TREVOR MARSH
UPHOLSTERER
Trevor’s passion for custom interiors began in a high school upholstery class and grew after he transformed the interior of his own ’74 Bronco. Today, he brings that same creativity, attention to detail, and pride to every seat, panel, and stitch he works on.
Steady, talented, and always wearing a smile, Trevor fits right in with the Big Kid crew. Outside the shop, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially outdoors and in the mountains.
JAYCE ANDERSON
METAL FABRICATOR
Jayce’s passion for cars started early, spending countless hours alongside his dad working on Volkswagens and Toyotas. Those early days in the garage gave him a strong mechanical foundation and a lasting appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Today, Jayce brings that hands-on experience to the metal shop, where he combines technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail to turn ideas into precisely fabricated parts. For him, building cars isn’t just a job. It’s something he’s been doing, learning, and loving since he was a kid.
CARSON CATTANI
SHOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST EXTRAORDINAIRE
Carson’s love for cars started with Saturday mornings in the garage alongside his dad and brother. That early curiosity turned into an impressive ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and tackle just about anything thrown his way, from fabrication and carpentry to electrical work, maintenance, and whatever unexpected project shows up next.
Currently pursuing dental school, Carson brings the same drive and attention to detail to his education that he brings to the shop. Outside of work, he enjoys dirt biking, working on his truck, camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
CARTER GOMEZ
BODY TECHNICIAN
Carter’s interest in cars began with visits to his uncle’s Mustang collection and grew into a passion for welding, bodywork, and automotive refinishing. He’s especially drawn to the craftsmanship behind a great build, from shaping metal and perfecting body lines to watching the finished vision come together.
Thoughtful, dependable, and detail-oriented, Carter brings patience and precision to everything he works on. Outside the shop, he enjoys camping, exploring Utah’s canyons, working on his own automotive projects, and playing the ukulele, drums, and guitar.
SYDNEY MOURIER
BODY SHOP ASSISTANT
Creativity has always been a big part of Syd’s life. With more than 30 years of creative experience, she loves working with her hands and turning ideas into something tangible. Her appreciation for cars grew alongside that creativity, with a particular love for drift cars, exotics, and the craftsmanship that makes every build unique.
Originally from Texas, Syd loves traveling, meeting new people, spending time in nature and near the ocean, and finding her next creative project. She brings that same curiosity and creative energy to the shop every day.
SCOTT CHRISTENSEN
BODY TECHNICIAN
AMELIA MILNE
BODY TECHNICIAN
Amelia’s passion for automotive repair began with her first vehicle, a rollover-damaged Excursion that she rebuilt while studying collision repair at UVU. She has a deep appreciation for both traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques, bringing knowledge, creativity, and a sharp eye for detail to every project.
Outside the shop, Amelia’s creativity continues through multimedia art, dreamcatchers, rock hounding, and creating shadow boxes from unique finds. She loves working with her hands, learning new things, and finding beauty in details others might overlook.
